Education has been stuck in a phase; teachers have mastered the art of being the Sage on the Stage. It’s not a bad format; we live for a good lecture. But as the world moves through this age of acceleration, with technology drastically shifting day-to-day, it’s important to get students thinking critically and have them become part of the technology’s growth, not become bystanders.

In fact, the teachers are the ones who need to “get out of the way,” according to our guest Josh Reppun, founder of @MLTSinHawaii. Reppun told us how becoming the Guide on the Side can open limitless doors for students, and what’s helping Hawai’i implement this strategy on a state-level (effectively, too).
