WATCH: Google Is Bringing Virtual Reality To The Classroom
Google is offering tools and programs to make the best use of Virtual Reality in the classroom. One of these tools is called “Expeditions“, which immerse the students in virtual trips all over the world. Some of the tours even have free lesson plans that the educator can use in class. Another important tool is called the “Discovery TRVLR“, created by Google in partnership with Discovery This tool features virtual tours, that allows the user to learn the more local and hidden stories of different locales. Some of the Discovery TRVLR series can be found on YouTube or on the Discovery VR app.
