Warrenville, IL – May 10, 2024 The Heico Companies announced that it has completed its acquisition of Versatile Mold and Design, Inc. Headquartered in Rutledge, Georgia, Versatile designs, builds, and maintains high precision molds for both thermoplastic and thermoset materials and provides molding services as well.

Under the leadership of the Heusser family, Versatile Mold and Design has developed the capabilities necessary to provide customers full support through all the phases of the molding process. In addition to building high-quality domestic and offshore production tooling, Versatile adds value to its customers through prototype tooling, 3D printing, mold sampling, spare parts programs, high-speed laser measuring, and in-house molding. Versatile is proud to support customers in the Energy & Power, Automotive, Pharmaceutical, Construction, Oil and Gas, and Medical industries. Versatile Mold and Design continues to be the recognized industry leader for the development of tools and processes for molded thermoset products.

The acquisition of Versatile Mold and Design adds a key component to The Heico Companies' Plastics Segment. Versatile will complement the molding operations of Davies Molding, which is part of the Heico Industrial Technologies Group. Together these companies can offer end-to-end turnkey plastic parts solutions.
