Box Design Competition at HD Expo Inspires the Room of the Future

Back for a second year at HD Expo was the Box Design Competition. This event pitted 12 of the most influential design firms in the world against each other to come up with the best concept of the future lifestyle guestroom.

Contestants had just 24 hours to come up with their proposed designs and a panel of four judges decided the winner of the competition on the morning of Wed. May 15.

This year’s winner was Urban Robot Associates. The firm’s design will be constructed and displayed on the show floor at HD Expo 2020.
