GEODIS Onsite: How CaseFlow, Wearables, and CPJs Are Transforming Warehouse Operations

At one of GEODIS’ technology-enabled warehouse sites, a blend of smart automation tools from Vecna Robotics—including CaseFlow, wearables, and compact pallet jacks (CPJs)—is reshaping how work gets done on the floor. These tools are improving both operational efficiency and the day-to-day experience of warehouse associates.

The wearable interface simplifies the picking process by guiding workers through each task without the need to operate robots or heavy machinery. Associates simply scan items and move from one task to the next, with the system automatically assigning the next robot to work with. This seamless handoff reduces downtime and increases productivity.

CaseFlow’s real-time dashboard provides supervisors with a clear snapshot of activity across the facility, showing where robots and people are and how work is progressing. This visibility supports quick decision-making and better labor planning throughout each shift.

Compact Pallet Jacks (CPJs) bring additional benefits, with their smaller, more agile design making it easier to share space with manual pickers. Their friendly form factor reduces congestion and allows for more fluid movement within tight areas.

Together, these technologies represent a shift toward smarter, more adaptable warehouse environments that prioritize both throughput and the well-being of the people who keep operations running.
