MarketScale Overseas: A Minute in Amsterdam

With Amsterdam being the historic city that it is, it may not come as much of a surprise that bold digital signage is sparse. However, when it is implemented in the capital city of the Netherlands, it is done in grand fashion.

Take Rembrandt Square (or ‘Rembrandtplein’) for example. The public area boasts the largest interactive digital screen in all of Europe. Passersby can engage with the screen using Bluetooth on their phones.

The square is among the busiest places in the city. Everything from nightclubs to cafes call Rembrandtplein home.

At ISE 2019 last week, MarketScale headed to the plaza to see the display in action and take in the local atmosphere surrounding it.
