What To Expect From ISE 2019

MarketScale will be on the road again Feb. 5-8, this time taking a trip overseas in search of the latest advancements and innovations in the digital signage industry at Integrated Systems Europe 2019.

ISE 2019, held in Amsterdam, is considered the largest AV and systems integration show in the world. This year’s event is sure to continue that trend with major keynote speakers, around 1,300 different exhibitors, and conferences for various industries—ensuring a completely immersive experience for attendees.

Here is just some of what to look out for this year.

Bart Kresa’s Sviatovid Projection Sculpture

World-renowned projection designer Bart Kresa will be debuting his latest projection mapping sculpture at ISE 2019. The artist is partnering with ISE and Panasonic Business to create what the event is calling “a new benchmark in audio visual art”.

The sculpture will be illuminated through 360° in True 4K using four Panasonic PT-RQ32 4K, 30,000lm laser projectors. The artwork is the follow-up of the artist’s interactive projection mapping sculpture which debuted at the Burning Man music festival in 2014 to mesmerize and awe audiences. The sculpture will make its debut on the show floor on Tuesday afternoon.

Projection Mapping on Amsterdam RAI Hotel

Another eye-catching sight at this year’s show also involves projection mapping. The 25-story RAI Hotel will play host to specially curated content projected on its façade.

Mike Blackman, Managing Director for ISE, told the MarketScale Pro AV Podcast last week, “What’s really exciting to me this year is we’re doing a lot on projection mapping.”

Content for the display is being done in partnership with 3D-mapping specialist Tenfeet and AV company Green Hippo.

This content is set to focus on the concept of diversity as well as on the construction and design inspiration behind the nhow hotel, displaying popular media manipulation, projection techniques, and will even feature a live-feed from inside the show. The content is scheduled to be showcased every night of the show, so there will be plenty of chances for those attending to visit.

What’s Next…Enterprise AV Integrated Experience Conference

This conference session will be held on Feb. 6 and feature an array of speakers discussing different ways that well-employed design thought facilitates success in the modern workplace.

Topics discussed will range from solutions for boosting end-user adoption to examining current and emerging workplace experiences and their designs. Discussions will also touch on the consideration of how the integration of technology into an environment can engage clients, increase revenue, and improve internal and external communications.

This is a must-attend session for anyone interested in advancing AV integration into their business.

These three highlights barely scratch the surface, and as Blackman told MarketScale “If you were trying to visit every single booth in the show, you will not see it in four days”.

So, for those making the trip to the Netherlands, researching events and exhibitors is essential in preparation of this year’s show. However, for those unable to be there in-person, MarketScale will be providing real-time updates with podcasts, articles, and video content to give everyone a front row seat to ISE 2019.
