Citing the explosion in popularity of streaming services, rumors say that Target and Best Buy will stop selling CDs this year. The CD aisle in retail stores has been in decline for years, and many see the move as the end of an era. The deal has everything to do with vendors and shipping costs, though vinyl records will be available for another 2 years. For people who still enjoy obtaining a physical copy of their favorite music, the age of browsing the racks is over.
