Commonly used pesticides could threaten salmon

A new report shows that three widely used pesticides could jeopardize salmon. The pesticides are used on crops ranging from rice to corn and even cotton. Conservationist groups and the salmon industry are hoping the new opinion will help to push the EPA to ban the chemicals. Salmon have been waiting four decades for relief from toxic pesticides in many of our rivers. The agencies should do their job.
