A Virtual Receptionist Making A Real World Difference with Mike Yoder of WinTech

Is the first impression a company makes actually the most important? What about everything else that happens immediately after that introduction? And what if that interaction took out the human element? On today’s podcast, our host had a chat with Mike Yoder, the Co-founder and CEO for WinTech. They discussed the realities of virtual receptionists, the psychological challenge of implementing an electronic receptionist versus having a traditional human in that role, and the ways that security verification technologies could change the approach in the future.

“It goes beyond, sort of, being that gatekeeper,” Yoder said. “It now becomes more of that AI, where it’s providing information sort of flawlessly, without the user required to do a lot of search and queries to get that information out.”
