In a world-first initiative, TMGcore, a leader in the design, build, and operation of data centers, has teamed up with Riot, a premier Bitcoin mining establishment, to launch a 30KW high-performance, two-phase immersion-cooled mobile supercomputer. The milestone marks the beginning of a very promising year for the partnership, 2023.

This collaboration is born out of a shared vision to combat the challenges posed by conventional cooling techniques in high-performance computing, particularly in Application-Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) applications. These applications are known for generating a significant amount of heat, demanding advanced cooling solutions for optimal performance. TMGcore, with its innovative two-phase and single-phase immersion cooling technology, emerged as the perfect partner to address Riot’s cooling challenges.

Months of hard work, collaboration, and shared commitment to overcoming the industry’s challenges culminated in the delivery of the world’s first 30KW high-performance computing two-phase immersion mobile data center. This event symbolizes the successful progression of the partnership from focusing on ASICs and mining to the broader landscape of high-performance computing applications, specifically GPU and supercomputing applications.

The high-performance computing mobile supercomputer, delivered at Riot’s impressive Bitcoin facility in Rockdale, Texas, is a testament to the tireless efforts of both Riot and TMGcore teams.
