Online Learning Minute: Defining Corporate Learning Culture and Its Benefits
A culture of intellectual inquiry can help companies and their employees adapt to changes in the industry. Host Brian Runo defined corporate learning culture and discussed its benefits on this episode of MarketScale’s Online Learning Minute.
Differentiating between HR courses administered when an employee starts a job and an overall culture of learning, Runo said “corporate learning culture (is) encouraging all of the employees to seek continuous improvement in themselves in order to help out the company and advance their own careers.”
By developing a culture driven by continuous improvement, Runo said companies and their employees benefit.
Employees who are welcome to take courses to advance themselves are more likely to be satisfied in their jobs, move forward in their careers and share their knowledge for the good of the company.
