Inside Offshore Europe 2019

Offshore Europe 2019 opened on Tuesday for a three-day conference in Aberdeen, Scotland, UK.

The show focuses on upstream oil and gas companies and professionals, and this year more than 900 suppliers will be in attendance, according to the show’s organizers.

One exhibitor is Oceaneering, a subsea engineering and technology company based in Houston, Texas. Audrey Leon, Content Writer, Global Marketing and Communications for the company provided the above photo from the event.

Leon writes, “At Offshore Europe 2019, Oceaneering is demonstrating how its advanced technologies are engineering the low carbon future. Our next-generation resident vehicle, the Freedom ROV, will be on display at stand 2i40. We will also have several in-booth presentations each day that discuss how our technology lowers the carbon footprint for offshore energy operations.”

While many of today’s innovations will be on display at OE 2019, the industry will also look to the future. Energy production and consumption trends are changing each year, and companies are already trying to best position themselves for coming generations.

This video shared by Wood Global Head of Creative Paul Shanks alludes to the foresight of the industry.

Stay tuned for more coverage of OE 2019 as the show continues through Thursday.
