Steve Roemerman, CEO of Lone Star Analysis, a north Texas-based analytics company serving the oil and gas industry, has a good rule of thumb for on-site data collection from the oil fields. “If you can’t order a Domino’s Pizza and get it delivered, then you probably don’t have the infrastructure to [deliver on-site data from the pad site.],” Roemerman said.
