Dispelling the Myths of What Makes a Quality Shoe Insert

The latest AliTalks podcast discussion examined the important factors that go into a quality shoe insert. Host Daniel Litwin was joined by Michelle Rocha, national retail marketing manager and product specialist at Bauerfeind. Rocha talked about the importance of the right insert to provide foot relief and alleviate knee and back pain.

Rocha then took Litwin through a deep dive of Bauerfiend’s Visco Line and ViscoSpot; their main features, how they are made, and the benefits of these inserts over many competitors.

“Obviously, comfortability is the goal here. If it is not comfortable, the consumers are not going to want to wear it,” Rocha said.

She proceeded to share some results of a study analoging the pain scale taken before and after treatment, showing significantly more patients improved with their heel pain through wearing the Visco heel. 95% percent of patients found relief after 14 days.

The conversation wrapped up with Rocha sharing a success story from the owner of a running store in Southern California who reduced their plantar fasciitis pain with the help of Visco products. And lastly, Rocha shared her thoughts on wear the future of inserts may be headed.
