UPS and CVS Continue Drone Medication Deliveries During COVID-19

 

A Florida retirement community is getting a taste of drone delivery as tests continue for several major companies looking to launch scaled drone delivery services. Starting in early May, Florida-based The Villages will be eligible for prescription medication delivery from participating CVS pharmacies to their door via a UPS drone. As COVID-19 rages on, CVS and UPS looked to support health care workers and vulnerable patients, while continuing their path to creating a revenue-generating drone delivery service at scale.
