Lost in the mists of time, before the unchecked proliferation of digital personal assistants (approximately 7 years ago), there was this strange custom of speaking directly with a human when you wanted to get recommendations while traveling in a new city. Those wise individuals were known as “concierges,” and our guest wanted to put a modern spin on that hospitality classic.

On today’s podcast, our host had a chance to chat with Sarah Dandashy, the founder of “AskAConcierge.tv.” They discussed the social network that exists to share knowledge within the industry, the challenges that maintaining a current “local database” presents, and the inevitable apology you will receive if you ever find yourself on vacation with Sarah.
