Defying skepticism, SpaceX launches the Falcon Heavy rocket

SpaceX hopes to launch its Falcon Heavy rocket this Tuesday, defying skeptics and correcting past failures. If successful, the Falcon Heavy would be the world’s most powerful rocket and a huge step for the company. Viewable on the SpaceX website and YouTube, the launch aims to go off at 1:30 PM Eastern, with a backup launch on Wednesday if weather is poor.
