Lyft and GoMentum

Lyft, a competitor to Uber in the ride-sharing business, is making a bigger commitment to self-driving cars. They’ve just announced a partnership with GoMentum to test self-driving vehicles at GoMentum’s 5,000 acre proving grounds. Lyft believes that utilizing GoMentum’s facilities will help propel self-driving cars to greater visibility from the public and enhance their reputation as the leader in this technology. Moreover, an objective is to show that self-driving   car transportation is safe, easily accessible and an acceptable alternative to conventional ride-sharing.
