The Growing Trend of Women in Trucking with John Esparza of the Texas Trucking Association
The number of female truck drivers has increased 68% since 2010. John Esparza, the CEO of the Texas Trucking Association, joined Business Casual with Daniel Litwin and Tyler Kern to explain what is making this industry so attractive to women.
“Wages have gone up and I think that’s a big piece of it. We’re frankly more attractive to anyone should they pay attention, and women are paying attention,” Esparza said.
