Wilsonart Charts New Path in 2019 With KBIS Product Debuts

Thin is in. That is what Wilsonart conveyed with its new THINSCAPE line of performance tops, which were on display at KBIS 2019 from Feb. 18-21. The tile and surface provider spent the expo showing off its latest products and enlightened attendees on what the Temple, Texas-based company is bringing to market this year.

“We’re really excited about it. It’s a very slim European-look counter top material that is unlike anything that is available on the market today,” Wilsonart Designer Brooke Mays said.

THINSCAPE is a reaction to other kitchen trends like cabinets and windowsills that are also increasingly becoming thinner than ever before. There are 12 styles of THINSCAPE counters available.

Another new Wilsonart product on display at KBIS this year was the Wetwall for bathrooms. This product has come to the market after three years of research and is available in 15 different types of panel material. These grout-free surfaces can be installed over existing tiles as well.

“Wetwall is the new way to really make the bathroom your own personal oasis,” Senior Product Manager Mike Maynard said. “When we talk about Wetwall we discuss fashion, performance, installation and maintenance.”

KBIS is expected to put a spotlight on the most innovative and trendsetting designs. Wilsonart certainly came ready to put its best foot forward in 2019.
