Connected Data & Connected Teachers Means Successful Students with Paul Livingston of EDIS

+ more

Going into the 2018-2019 school year, Every Student Succeeds, or ESSA, is finally going from a plan to a policy, changing the standards placed on teachers and districts for student success. The biggest change comes to the “A” word– accountability. For many schools, their systems are too complex or disjointed, making essential data difficult to access but punishing districts with performance numbers.

Paul Livingston, Director of Educational Strategy for EDIS, came on the podcast to discuss the data revolution within the EdTech space, how districts can better harness varied but critical data, and how collaborative and data-informed educators can give students a more personalized education.
