Cellar Of Legendary Entrepreneur To Be Auctioned
Sotheby’s will be auctioning a collection of fine wines from the estate of the late Jerry Perenchio in Hong Kong and New York City this spring. The sale of this varied and impressive collection will benefit the Perenchio Foundation, an initiative to fund visual and performing arts in his native Los Angeles. Perenchio, who isn’t a household name due to his avoidance of the press, is nonetheless famous vicariously through his many entertainment and artistic productions, including the films, Blade Runner and Driving Miss Daisy, and his promotion of several well-known sporting events.
