Mid Continent Controls’ Aurora CMS

Mid Continent Controls is excited to announce our 5th generation cabin management system – Aurora CMS.   Aurora’s value is in its flexibility to create simple, yet customizable and cost effective installations. While each component of the system operates independently, Aurora’s components also function together to produce the best environment for an enhanced user experience.

The Next Generation Aurora CMS

The wireless, flexible and cost effective Aurora CMS is a Next Generation Cabin Management System boasting a clean sheet design specifically created to provide modern, sleek technologies for business aviation cabins.  The Aurora CMS solution is based around using wireless communications to control all functions within the cabin.  This wireless communication allows for less wiring, more flexibility and less complexity for fixed controls like switches and touch screens, and opens a whole new world for PED control throughout the cabin.  The PED “Follow Me” Control tracks where the passengers are in the cabin and assigns controls by a specific seat or location.  “Follow Me” allows a PED to function as if it were hard wired, but changes as the passenger moves throughout the cabin.  The Aurora CMS offers fast access to the most commonly used functions and includes extensive customization and macro functions.  The solution is an advanced CMS tailored to each owner/operator. Our wireless control capability means less wiring and simplified installations.  The Aurora CMS provides installers a very simple engineering and installation processes that can be reused on multiple airframes, therefore reducing costs.  Charter operators and OEM’s can also customize Aurora to support their own brand recognition.
