HBO Max Expands it Reach to Roku

Nearly seven months after HBO Max’s debut, it’s finally available on Roku, the leading OTT (over the top) screening platform with over 46 million active users. As reported in Variety, this new deal will greatly expand HBO Max’s reach, as it now has a presence on all ATT platforms.

Whether HBO Max really compete against Netflix, Hulu, and Disney+ in the long run. Why it’s a win-win for both HBO and Roku.

KEY POINTS

  • After much back and forth, Roku and WarnerMedia agreed to distribute HBO Max on the OTT platform.
  • This comes off the news that all Warner Bros.’s 2021 films will debut on HBO Max.
