MarketScale is hiring a Senior Director of Business Development to continue our growth in Enterprise B2B Business Development. The Senior Director of Business Development role is built for Sales Executives with over ten years’ experience in developing new business partnerships with enterprise companies.
In this role, you will deploy our unique Thought Leadership methodology to professional selling with your own podcasts, videos, and more, while leveraging your past experience in sales and marketing to grow our base of clients.
Enjoy significant autonomy to travel – or not travel – as pipeline and opportunities arise. Utilize best-in-class technology, from Salesforce CRM and Hubspot and Drift Marketing Automation, to our complete content-creation studio to fuel your efforts. Accelerate your Thought Leadership status on platforms such as LinkedIn, and participate (and speak) at Industry Events, networking with industry leaders.
MarketScale serves B2B companies, developing marketing content, training content and delivering media services that educate, inform and inspire professionals in industries ranging from Professional AV to Manufacturing and Industrial IoT to Healthcare. Because of these niche target markets, experience communicating with and building relationships with VP-level and above senior marketing leaders is important to this role.
Help B2B marketing leaders grow their businesses with best-in-class tools, marketing content and media. Improve the way companies go about delivering marketing content and reaching their customers, by helping them deploy more Thought Leadership podcast, training and educational content.

Job Requirements and Skills
- 10+ years of enterprise B2B Sales and Business Development experience
- Undergraduate degree in related field
- Availability to travel, up to approximately 10 days per month
- Experience speaking and presenting at conferences or to medium to large groups
- Expert CRM utilization, especially Salesforce
- High-level Business Writing proficiency with strong Enterprise Business Development vocabulary and best practices
- Proficiency in content marketing and social selling, especially LinkedIn
- Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
