Mr. Lester is a proven executive with 20+ years of experience driving growth and innovation initiatives at technology companies across industries including IOT, financial and healthcare technology and ecommerce.
Jim’s accomplishments include:
•Managing product portfolios with over $1.5B in annual revenue within the Fortune 1000
•Leading a turnaround at a $400m+ division within a Fortune 500 company
•Scaling an innovation initiative within an $800m division of a Fortune 5 company
•Raising over $20m in venture capital
•Leading a start-up to #345 on the Inc. 500
•Managing multiple M&A due diligence and integration efforts
Currently, Jim is CEO of ThingTech, a venture capital backed IOT provider of asset intelligence and optimization solutions, where he has responsibility for the overall strategic execution of the business.
Most recently, Jim was SVP of Product Management and Strategy (CPO/ CMO) for Fiserv’s electronic billing and payments division. Prior to Fiserv, he was VP of Product Management for McKesson RelayHealth (Change Healthcare) where he led product and growth strategy for the revenue cycle division (payments, patient access, and claims management solutions). He also served as VP Growth and Innovation in it’s largest technology division, McKesson Health Solutions, an $800m business.
Formerly, Jim was the Chief Marketing and Product Officer (CMO/CPO) at a venture capital backed fintech, leading initiatives resulting in triple digit growth – selected as Inc. 500 fastest growing company and Top 40 innovation by Technology Association of Ga.
Jim began his career at Electronic Data Systems (EDS) as a programmer. He holds a BS from Georgia Tech and an MBA from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School. He is a patent holder.
