Super Bowl 52 is only weeks away and the city of Minneapolis is expecting visitors to bring a retail boom to the twin cities. Retailers big and small are getting excited about the number of football fans that will be bringing their business with them for the game. Target and Minnesota based menswear haberdasher Askov Finlayson are teaming up to provide a robust offering of winter clothing, while the Galleria Edina Mall and Mall of America will both be hosting a number of special events leading up to the game. Jill Renslow, senior VP of business development said, “Mall of America is the heart of a lot of the activity that’s going to be taking place around the Super Bowl,” Minneapolis and their many great retailers are hoping to score with those who will there to watch the Super Bowl.
