Expanding Participation in the Drone Industry with Bronwyn Morgan of Xeo Air: Drones In America

Grant Guillot, host of Drones in America, was joined on this podcast episode by Bronwyn Morgan, founder of Xeo Air. Bronwyn describes her life path and how her interest in the aviation industry from a young age and shaped her career and led her to become an innovator in the drone industry.

“Our industry is still so young.  We still have a very long way to go,” said Morgan.  She explained that the current COVID situation has sparked increased interest in drone technology for its ability to complete tasks in a touchless manner.  “It is really about an aerial revolution.”

Morgan talks of her desire to spread knowledge and education about drone technology and hosts her own podcast, XeoCast, a discussion on all things geospatial and unmanned.  She also introduces a few prominent guests that are appearing on her upcoming episodes.

Guillot and Morgan then dive into the topic of the day and discuss their shared desire to increase diversity in the industry.  Guillot commented, “all of us need to work together to move this industry forward.”  Morgan shared her insights on the struggle to build a diverse network and her efforts to include all people in her professional circles and promote diversity in technical roles.

Tune in for a thought-provoking discussion on diversity in the drone industry and beyond.
