Andy’s career in the IT industry started at Wang Laboratories in 1990 with roles as Pre-Sales Consultant, Sales Representative, and Sales Manager. In 1996, Andy focused his career on small, fast growing companies requiring significant improvements in product and service delivery; customer satisfaction; and corporate financial results. Beginning with Communications Products, Inc., Andy held roles was Vice President, Operations and then Vice President of Sales for Federal Government and commercial customers . Andy’s leadership and vision in both roles led the company to become an Inc. 500 company attaining significant revenue growth and profitability. Andy was then recruited to join another small company with aspirations of growth through acquisition. As Vice President of Operations, Andy focused on supporting acquisition due diligence, improving operational execution, reducing costs, improving customer satisfaction and increasing profit. The company was ultimately acquired leading to his promotion as Chief Operating Officer.
Today, Andy is one of only a few in the IT industry with significant experience building and successfully running a consumption-based IT as-a-Service business unit. Andy’s leadership and vision in the areas of pricing, service design, service level agreements, marketing and sales collateral, and Cloud Service portal design are why his business unit has achieved 100’s of millions of dollars in IT as-a-Service revenue over the last 9 years.
Mr. Flick twice served in the USAF – First as a Russian Linguist and then as USAF Program Manager responsible for a $4B acquisition of 600 F-16 fighters. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska, Omaha. He attended formal program management and contracts training at the Air Force Institute of Technology and later attained Level II Program Manager certification.
He was born and raised in Florida where he and his wife, Kristina, live today.
