McDonald’s Goes Beyond Meat

It seems like every week we have news coming out of the alternative meat industry but when one of the biggest companies in the world begins testing the product it is definitely newsworthy.

McDonalds announced it will start selling Beyond Meat patties in 28 Canadian locations starting Monday. Beyond created a specific patty just for McDonald’s.

This test will run for 12 weeks.

Ford Tests Autonomous Vehicles

Another American giant also announced a new round of tests. Ford Motor company is bringing part of its autonomous vehicle fleet to Austin, TX in November. Argo AI, a company that specializes in self-driving technology, is powering Ford’s autonomous cars.

FundBox Raises Some Serious Cash

Big news for all B2B companies happened recently. B2B payment and credit services firm Fundbox announced it has raised another $176 million in funding.

Fundbox uses AI and machine learning to produce a credit decision for online buyers within minutes. This speed and technology could free up trillions of dollars currently tied up in accounts receivable systems, so B2B companies should be following this story closely.
