Mapping Lidar Innovation at ILMF 2019

MarketScale headed to ILMF 2019 in Denver, Colorado this week to catch up on the latest drone and image-mapping technology. Among the hundreds of exhibitors, several stood out with new technology, software and aircraft.

RIEGL displayed its miniVUX-1DL laser scanner attached to a DJI-M600 to create a monstrously powerful tool and ASTRALite hyped up its 2-in-1 solutions for topographic and underwater mapping with the use of its Lidar technology.

You can’t have drones without cameras. Phase One got in on the action with its latest drone-mountable cameras and lenses. Microdrones showed off its md4-1000 surveying drone – one of the hottest surveying tools in the market.

The show was a testament to the innovation in the drone industry, and many other industries will prove to be the beneficiaries of this work.
